BeeKeepa was launched in February 2015 and is based in Melbourne. Run by blogger and keen gardener Natasha Kuperman of My Home Harvest, it’s a project that brings together her love of fresh produce, her creative and crafting whims and her love of great sustainable ideas. Our range has developed to be stylish, high quality and practical and continues to evolve based on your feedback and ideas!
Driven by her exposure to the Plastic Free July challenge back in 2014, Natasha realised that developing BeeKeepa was another project that suited her personal philosophy of educating and providing people with sustainable options for everyday living.
Here at BeeKeepa we have a strong environmental commitment through each part of the process. We choose to support suppliers of high quality organic cotton fabrics, with most of our range sourced from suppliers who are also GOTS certified. Our beeswax is from a local beekeeper and is organic (by nature) and amazing quality. We use organic jojoba oil and our tree rosin/resin is the highest quality (WW grade).
Our product labelling and packaging is plastic free whenever possible. Our labels and paperwork is printed on 100% post-consumer waste paper, and our online orders are boxed without excess packaging or bubblewrap. For larger orders we endeavour to use recycled boxes and packaging (it’s amazing how many businesses are happy to give you their boxes for free!).
