Care and how to guide for Beeswax Wraps

 

 

To use:

 

Simply use the warmth of your hands to mould and shape the wraps. They can be used to cover bowls and jars, wrap half cut fruit and vegetables, bread, sandwiches, cheeses and anything to do with food - you can even use to make pouches for snacks. See the below video ideas.

Please avoid heat including direct sunlight.

Not suitable for oven, dishwasher, microwave or to cover raw meat.

To clean:

 

Simply wash with cold water, a little detergent and a gentle cloth.

We suggest:

  • First rinse with cold water to remove any crumbs
  • Lay on a clean bench and gently rub the surface with a cloth (or sponge) and mild eco detergent to remove any food residue
  • Rinse under cold running water
  • Once clean, drip dry on dish rack or use a tea towel to pat dry

We find if the wraps are not soiled they can simply be dusted off and put away, or reused.

Please avoid anything abrasive as this will damage the beeswax coating.  

 

 


To store:

 

Store in a cool dry place. We find rolling them and keeping in a draw works well - so they are easily accessible and get plenty of use!
